In order to graduate, students must meet all New York State requirements, which include earning 22 credits in total. This entails four units each of English and Social Studies, three units of Mathematics and Sciences, and one unit of Art or Music. In addition, students must complete four years’ worth of Biblical studies and community service. The required Regents or Competency tests that students must pass are in English, US History, Global Studies, Science, and Mathematics.
Special Curriculum Features
The Dual Enrollment Program gives high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to take freshman courses at local colleges and universities and earn college credits. Students enrolled in the High School College Program through Marist College can take advantage of courses such as Advanced Placement, College Writing 101, College Writing 102, Principles of Economics, and Statistics.
